Cullen had seen Sam around campus, and asked a mutual friend for her number. They went to a student event together dressed up as Max and Ruby, and stayed friends for a few months. After saying no the first time Cullen asked her out, Sam agreed to a date just before Christmas break, and the relationship officially started right at the beginning of spring semester. Exactly 23 months later, on the same pier Cullen asked Sam to be his girlfriend, he bent the knee and she said yes. We've been so blessed by all the little things in our relationship and are daily confronted with how God is working in our relationship. It's been such a joy to grow together as a couple, and to see how the Lord is working in each of our lives to shape us to be more like Him. Perhaps the biggest blessing is all of the people who have prayed for and with us all along the way. We could never express the gratitude we have for all the love we've felt, from the first date all the way to the altar. We've been waiting for this day for a long time, and we can't wait to celebrate with you. Truly, what God has brought together, let no man break apart! All glory be to Him.
