We're Getting Married!

Corey and Sam met in the summer of 2010 by going to Soundset Music Festival with a group of mutual friends. Sam would invite Corey out to her college, University of Wisconsin-River Falls, to party on the weekends after that where they became best friends over the duration of a year. In the summer of 2011, they went to Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas and after that trip they could not deny the feelings that had blossomed for each other.

They went on a spur of the moment weekend Autumn vacation to Colorado. Corey had been a little extra nice with helping her with her luggage, which made Sam suspicious. They went on a day trip to Colorado Springs to see the scenic view of Garden of the Gods. As they were walking back to their car from Garden of the Gods, Sam got upset because she thought that would have been a great opportunity to propose. She asked how much longer she had to wait because they had been together for 8 years. Corey messed with her and said, "maybe another year!" She had no clue that he was planning to propose this trip but every vacation for the last 3 years she thought was a good opportunity to ask. Haha! Little did she know, he had the ring in his backpack the whole time and was waiting for the right time. After Garden of the Gods and a great meal at Rudy's Country Store & Bar-B-Q, they hiked around Red Rock Canyon Open Space where he got on his knee at a scenic lookout and asked "Will you marry me?" <3
