FAQs

Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask all RSVPs be sent in by 9/18, as this is when our final head count is due to our caterer. Although we would love to accommodate everyone after this date, it will unfortunately not be possible. You will be able to RSVP starting 6/7.

Question

What time is the ceremony?

Answer

1:00pm at St. Joseph's Cathedral, followed by a reception starting with cocktail hour at 5:00pm at The Society Room of Hartford. The addresses are posted on the schedule page.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is black-tie optional, suits, tuxes, and full-length gowns are requested.

Question

What can I do between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

There are many great bars and areas to explore along Pratt street (walking distance from The Society Room) to name a few: Hartford Flavor Cocktail Parlor, Urban Lodge, Vaughan's Irish Pub & Capital Spirits. We kindly ask to keep your distance while the bride and groom are taking photos, there will be plenty of time to chat throughout the night!

Question

Where is the after party being held?

Answer

You are welcome to congregate with family and friends at Vaughan's Public House (59 Pratt St, Hartford, CT 06103) for post-reception fun! A quick walk from Society Room, stays open until 2am.

Question

I'm running late to the ceremony, what do I do?

Answer

We kindly ask that if you are unable to make it to the ceremony on time, that you join us for cocktail hour. Please note, the bride has given her brothers Super Soaker Squirt Guns who will be ordered to spray those unable to follow this request! They both have particularly good aim, it is not recommended to take your chances on this.
