We met on Halloween in 2017 at a party at Penn State. When Sam graduated in May, he moved to Baltimore and we decided to make long distance work. By the time I graduated, I had gotten an internship in Baltimore and joined him on the adventure before moving back to PA. Finally Sam made his way back to Pennsylvania and now we are loving our time in Manayunk!

On day 7 of our Europe trip, we woke up in our bed and breakfast in Yorkshire Dales and headed out for a walk. We walked amongst sheep, cows, and horses in scenery that didn't feel real! Little did I know, Sam had been in contact with a photographer in Settle (Stephen) and had the ring tied to a loose string in his jeans pocket. Once we had reached the spot that Stephen and Sam agreed on, he got down on one knee and popped the question. And he may or may not have had to remind me to give him an answer. After choking my tears back enough to squeak out a "yes", Stephen took the beautiful pictures of us that are featured throughout our website and our invitations. Then we headed to dinner and back to our bed and breakfast where we enjoyed champagne and dessert out on the terrace. After our stay in beautiful Settle, we traveled to London where we spent three days soaking in our engagement before anyone else knew. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter with the people who mean the most to us. See you in the Outer Banks!
