Flights

We suggest flying to Lisbon, as this is only 40 minutes from our venue. Flights to Lisbon are incredibly convenient and frequent. Most Australian cities have flights directly to Lisbon stopping over in either Dubai (Emirates), Singapore (Qantas), or Doha (Qatar).

Getting Around

To get around, we suggest hiring a car as this is very cheap in Portugal. However, an Uber from Lisbon all the way to our venue is often less than 30 Euros. There is a handy train from Lisbon to Sintra, but our venue is around 10km from Sintra so an extra cab or Uber ride may be required.

Travel from Australia

If you are vaccinated, travel is generally quite smooth. Entering Portugal is easy. A proof of vaccination or COVID test result is required for entry. Returning to Australia is also easy, but proof of vaccination is required. Places To Stay

As most of our events are in Azenhas do Mar, we suggest staying around this area. Most options include Airbnbs and apartments, however there are a few hotels on the coast too. You may wish to stay in Lisbon, as there is a wealth of cheap accomodation options and it is barely 40 minutes drive from our venue.

Babysitting

We will be hiring babysitters for the day to look after and entertain kiddies while parents let their hair down. Please let us know ASAP whether your children will be coming so we can make arrangements.

COVID Safety

To help provide us all with peace of mind, will be providing Rapid Antigen Tests at the wedding. Each guest will be asked to test upon entry (yes, even the bride and groom!) We hope this will ensure the day is as safe as possible!
