Flying into Milan, Italy Airport (airport code MXP) is the best option. From there you can use the local trains, rent a car, or hire a driver to get to Lake Como. If you do rent a car, make sure to check the towns you plan to visit are accessible by car (Laglio is). It is around a 45 min to 1 hour drive from MXP to the town of Laglio on Lake Como.

If you would like to arrive prior to our 2-day wedding event or stay on the lake longer, we recommend staying in the town of Bellagio or Varenna. These are both great hubs to see different parts of the lake.

You are able to get a rental car but it can be difficult to drive around Lake Como with narrow & tricky roads. If you do decide on a car, the Villa will have on-site parking but anywhere else you stay we recommend researching the route prior.

The ferry is the best way to get around when traveling in Lake Como. They post their schedules online and at the dock of each town. They offer a variety of passes to best suit your needs.
