Our favorite downtown Denver coffeehouse! Located in the heart of historic Larimer Square. Warm yet urban feel, they have an amazing coffee bar, full deli, huge dessert selection, etc. Open late-ish - typically until 9 PM during the week, 10 PM on weekends.
The Pearl Street Mall is unique to Colorado. With a distinctly "Boulder" (a.k.a. "hippie") vibe, this more than quarter-mile outdoor walking mall is pedestrian-only from 11th to 15th streets. It's lined with restaurants, breweries, shopping... and really awkward/entertaining street performers!
Broadway Award Winning Musical THE LION KING is playing May 13-June 14! Love this show!
Fun, chill, sportsbar in a great part of downtown Denver. (It's in a sea of neigboring sportsbars in case you find something you like better.) Rooftop dining, fire pits, lawn games, and a great menu make this one of our favorites!
A great place to hike, nature walk, and otherwise be Colorado outdoorsy. This is NOT the most strenuous hiking challenge around, but keep in mind that altitude is a thing. Get in a workout or take a leisurely stroll. It's a 14-minute drive from the Renaissance Hotel where the group block is booked.
Experience the area's best collection of luxury brands in one beautiful location. Located near downtown Denver, Cherry Creek Shopping Center has over 160 specialty boutiques and over 40 stores exclusive to the area including Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., Burberry, Neiman Marcus, Tory Burch, Stuart Weitzman, David Yurman, Nordstrom, Macy’s, Apple, H&M, Sephora, Forever 21, and Coach. It also has AMAZING dining spots like Elway’s Steakhouse, Kona Grill, and 801 Chophouse.
Sitting atop beautiful Estes Park, The Stanley Hotel was the inspiration for the fictional "Overlook Hotel" in Stephen King's "The Shining." It's only 5 miles from Rocky Mountain National Park, offers great views of Lake Estes and Longs Peak, and is walking distance to great shopping options. We thoroughly enjoyed the haunted ghost tour and visiting the infamous whiskey bar featured in both The Shining and yes, Dumb and Dumber. REDRUM.
