If I am staying more than one night, will I get dinner?

Answer

Those of us in the wedding party will be having the rehearsal dinner the night before at the Mansion. We will be ordering food, so you are more than welcome to join or explore Franklin for some good eats.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 4pm so arrive at least 30 minutes prior. If you are staying in the mansion for only the night of the wedding, arrive with enough time for you to get settled in your room, get ready, and head down to the ceremony space.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please dress to your comfort level, that is, somewhere in between a fancy restaurant and dropping into a fairy tale. This mansion is from the 1800's! For Men: please no jeans or sneakers For Women: Stilettos are not recommended for the ceremony is in the woods. Please also avoid satin fabric. There is a short walk in the woods to the ceremony space; depending on whether there has been rain recently, an extra pair of shoes may be helpful.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, it would be preferred if kids who can't go unsupervised do not attend. This is an old property with a large stairwell and many rooms. I would hate for them to get hurt, and for you to worry about them the whole time.
