“We’re getting married!”

We met on a popular dating website called Plenty of Fish. When we began talking, we didn't think much of a serious relationship to develop, given the way we met. But soon after we began talking, we realized that something real could develop from this chance meeting. In the beginning, we were messaging each other all day, everyday. Our first phone call, was on Halloween, when Sam was drunk with his friends at a party. A few days later, Sam asked to meet up for our first date, when our relationship was made official. After a drunken phone call on Halloween, and that date at Applebee's, we realized that we wanted to be with one another. While our story didn't begin the traditional way, three years later, we couldn't be happier to spend our lives together.

On September 28th 2019, just like any other day, something hit Sam that made him realize that he wanted to make Autumn his wife. After asking her parents for their blessing, he went with her sisters to help pick out the ring he was going to propose with. His plan was to originally ask for her hand in marriage on Thanksgiving of that year, but realized that was too far away and he was too excited. Then he decided that Halloween was going to be the day, but again changed his mind because again, that day was too far away. On that typical September day, when he found the perfect ring, he concluded he was going to ask her that day out of his excitement and anticipation. Autumn arrived home from work that day, to Sam on his knee and the ring in his hand. With Marry Me by Train playing in the background, he asked her to be his wife.
