Hazen's Notch Trail Network
Local trail network with a variety of trail levels! We'd recommend walking the trails within High Ponds Farm Nature Preserve. Find the trail map on their website!
Lake Willoughby
If you have the time, we highly recommend the 45 minute drive to visit Lake Willoughby! Vermont’s deepest lake, Lake Willoughby’s famous skyline is scored by fjord-like peaks. This five-mile-long lake was carved out by glaciers more than 12,000 years ago, giving it its dramatic appearance.
Hill Farmstead Brewery - Taproom
Big fan of beer and up for a scenic drive? Head to Hill Farmstead! This brewery is ranked among the best breweries in Vermont and the world. It's about an hour drive from Jay Peak, but it'll be worth it. This could pair well with a visit to Lake Willoughby, the lake would only add an extra 20 minutes to your drive!
Jay Peak Bean & Brew Festival
Check out Jay Peak's Annual Bean & Brew festival on October 17th. A celebration of New England’s finest craft beer, cider, and locally roasted coffee. Enjoy live music, lawn games, and good vibes at the Stateside Base Lodge. This is a Ticketed Event. Since this is the day of our Wedding please keep in mind their will also be drinks flowing at our reception!
