WE’RE GETTING MARRIED

We met at Bally’s Gym!! Sam was working at the protein shake shop and Ashley was finishing up her Second semester of graduate school at OLLU. It started off with free protein shakes after every workout.. literally lol and one day Sam finally braved up to write down his phone number behind a receipt. After playing hard to get for ONE day Ashley messaged Sam.. we decided to meet up for our first date at P.F. Chang’s and the rest was history!

If you know Ashley, you know her love for Christmas!! Sam planned the perfect, most romantic proposal. A surprise trip to NYC was planned December 26, 2011. The entire flight Sam looked nervous and pale. He was adamant that we had to visit Rockefeller Center as soon as we landed. I on the other hand was ecstatic I mean I was in NYC during Christmas time.. it was beautiful! I’m not exactly sure what Sam was thinking but as we arrived to the skating rink there were hundreds of people crowded around the tree. There was no turning back lol As I stood there staring at the tree I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned to see Sam drop to one knee and asked “Will you Marry Me?” It was perfect!

Our love story is far from traditional and we wouldn’t have it any other way. 10 years ago we had a goal for our future, it was what worked for us. With love, sacrifice, and support together we have surpassed our goals we once set for ourselves and our family. We have been blessed with 3 beautiful children Christian, Nico and Arabella. We have had 10 years filled with struggles, hardships, laughter and most important LOVE. We have grown as one. To my forever partner, my soul mate, my love. CHEERS TO TEAM VASQUEZ!!
