Officiant
Becky knew Sam B.A. ("before-Annie"), and when we started dating, Becky was one of the first people to reach out and make me feel comfortable in Milwaukee. She is such a caring and amazing friend to both of us, and we are BEYOND thrilled she agreed to officiate our ceremony!
Matron of Honor
Our friendship goes back to our grandparents, who lived right next door to each other while our moms were growing up. We have made such great memories & have become so close over the past few years -- FUN FACT: Mindy's mom, Lisa, was my mom's Maid of Honor!
Matron of Honor
Danielle and I became friends on the first day of freshman year in high school during Mr. Ortega's choir class, and have been inseparable ever since. You can most likely find us trying to find an audience to hear our rendition of "My Heart Will Go On" by Celine Dion.
Bridesmaid
Melissa and I became friends in high school and our parents now live across the street from each other in Glen Ellyn! I can always count on Melissa for a good neighborhood "walk and talk", especially if Einstein's Bagels is involved :)
Bridesmaid
Emily and I have been friends since birth, even after she went through her biting phase as a child! We shared everything - from boxes and boxes of Velveeta mac & cheese, to chicken pox, all the way to teaching swim lessons classes & beyond!
Best Man
Dave and I first met when I was a freshmen in college. The next year, I went over to his house to play a poker game and found out he needed a roommate for the next year. We decided that night that I would move in. We share a love for soccer (specifically Arsenal), family, and drinking some beers! We lived together for 2 years and have stayed great friends since! Kiley and Annie both joined our lives while we were living together and have become great friends. Our lives have stayed connected in many ways that make us really good friends!
Best Woman
Amanda and I got really close when she moved back to Milwaukee to start grad school and I was a Junior in college living on the east side of Milwaukee. We would go to my favorite watering hole, the Black Rose (RIP!!!), for packer games, happy hours, or just to hang out. Amanda started playing hurling around that time and we would go to Round Robins together and formed a really tight bond. One of those drunk nights out, we agreed that no matter what, Amanda and I would be each others best man/woman in each others wedding. We really were each others best friends for a really important time in both of our lives. Now she is the mother of my favorite nephew, James, and we get to share time together hanging out with him and staying as close as ever.
Groomsman
Jordan and I met in college at Cardinal Stritch University. We had many classes together and would always get breakfast at Glen's cafe after our 9 am Russian History class. After Jordan and I graduated, we ended up working at the same high school for 2.5 years. Becky, Jordan's wife, became great friends with Annie and we have stayed connected as friends!
Groomsman
Justin and I became friends through Annie and Mindy, his wife. We met on one of the family's many trips to Galena. We were two men amongst many ladies, so we decided to get some bro time at the bar and created a little tradition for ourselves every time we go back. He was there when I asked Tom for permission to marry his daughter and has been there for many special moments in our relationship.
Groomsman
Clay and I started working together at Mathnasium when we were both in college. Clay and I would enjoy going out after work for drinks and have learned that we both loving playing golf, darts, pool, and poker (even though he is much better than me at many of those things). Even though life has pulled us many different directions, we have stayed friends and now we live less than a mile away from each other!
