Is there transportation?

Answer

Yes! Trolleys will be provided to and from The Mackey House on our wedding day. They will depart from the Black Dog General Store at 4pm. We suggest arriving five to ten minutes before departure time. The Black Dog General Store is two blocks east of the J.W. Marriott on River Street.

What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal garden party. We are encouraging guests to have fun with bold color, playful prints and interesting textures! Please visit the "dress code inspiration" tab for ideas. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held in a grassy area. Stiletto heels are not recommended.

Are children allowed?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we have decided that our wedding will be an adult-only occasion.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding Ceremony and Cocktail Hour will be held outdoors. Our Reception will be held in a covered area.

Do you have room blocks for any of the surrounding hotels?

Answer

What time should I arrive for your wedding ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you not arrive earlier than 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony. Arriving at least 15 minutes early to find a seat is suggested. The ceremony will begin at five o'clock.

When is your RSVP deadline?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP no later than July twenty-first.
