Things To Do
Shenandoah National Park
Sam and I love driving up and down skyline drive in the fall for the leaves and scenery. Some short (0-2 mile) hikes we recommend are Blackrock Summit (pictured) and Dark Hollow Falls.
Humpback Rocks
This is a short, steep, but SO worth it hike just down the road from our venue.
Three Ridges
This is the first mountain Sam and I ever backpacked together. If you face away from the altar we will be getting married at, you will see a ridge just beyond the venue. That ridge is Three Ridges, and is a huge reason behind selecting this venue for our wedding ceremony and reception <3
Devils Backbone Brewery
Sam and I went here for dinner after we got our engagement photos taken. Good beer, good food, and great atmosphere.
Wineries
There are SO many wineries (and breweries) in the area. Hazy Mountain Winery, Veritas Vineyard & Winery, Flying Fox Vineyard, 12 Ridges Vineyard, and more.
Crabtree Falls
Sam and I love this waterfall!
Silver Creek Orchards Inc
Silver Creek Orchard has a few days a year where folks can come and pick their own apples in the orchard. Even if 10/10-10/11 aren't a pick your own apple day - the orchard is still a nice place to visit or do some holiday shopping.
