FAQs

Question

Where is the venue?

Answer

We've reserved a spacious, private venue in the beautiful Texas countryside to celebrate our special day. Address: 1501 Co Rd 223, Florence, TX 76527 Link To View: https://www.vrbo.com/4490114?expediaPropertyId=114128269

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Business casual - Slightly Formal Gentlemen: Collared or button-up shirts and pants or shorts (preferably no jeans). White or light shirts are fine, but please do not wear a full white outfit, as that attire is traditionally reserved for the bride and groom. Ladies: Dresses/skirts or a blouse with pants/shorts (preferably no jeans). Please do not wear a white or light dress/skirt, as that color is traditionally reserved for the bride and groom. Remember, it's going to be pretty hot out here in June!

Question

Do we need to make hotel or rental reservations?

Answer

We no longer have any private rooms available at the event, but there is still 1 open room with multiple beds and plenty of couches or other sleeping space for folks who would like to avoid driving after the wedding festivities. If you'd rather have your own space, we totally get it! In that case, you will be responsible for making your own reservations. Georgetown and Jarrell are both within about 20 - 30 minutes drive and have reasonable AirBNB accommodations.

Question

When should we arrive and how long should we plan to stay?

Answer

Guests should arrive between 3:30pm and 4:00pm. Please don't arrive later than 4pm, as we have scheduled picture time starting shortly after guests have arrived. Our final scheduled activity is a game of musical chairs starting at 7:50pm, and we will open the dance floor indefinitely after that! You're welcome to leave whenever you're comfortable.

Question

Are you planning any group activities outside of the wedding?

Answer

We will be setting up the venue most of the day on June 6th and 7th, and we will take all the help we can get! In the evening on June 7th, we will host a welcome dinner for anyone interested in participating. Both of these events are completely optional, as we understand that travel can be exhausting and some may be more interested in settling in/resting before the big day. We're happy to have you either way! Lastly, we will also be having a clean up party / pool day on June 9th, the day after the wedding (also optional).

Question

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Absolutely not! Your presence is the greatest gift of all - any other gifts are completely unnecessary. Please come empty-handed and leave happy-hearted!
