If Sam and Alana are already married--what is this?

This is our Wedding Party! Celebrating our marriage on Catalina Island has been a dream of ours since our first trip together. We married locally to ensure the loved ones that we knew would not be able to make the trek to Avalon would be able to see our ceremony, but saved the party for our island!

Answer

It may be different than you are used to seeing, but yes, there will be a ceremony!

No; our venue is small and has a strict capacity.

What should I wear?

Answer

Summer Cocktail Attire: Wear summer cocktail dresses, dressy jumpsuits, collared shirts, jackets and slacks in lighter hues. A portion of the event will be held on the rooftop of Toyon Grill. Please feel free to wear light jackets, sunglasses/hats as needed. Additionally, Avalon's walkable paths tend to be cobblestone-like, so wedges and comfortable shoes are recommended!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

You can check with your hotel specifically, but most stays in Avalon are within walking distance to the Toyon Event Center.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have a hotel block at the Pavilion Hotel in Avalon under "Alana & Sam 2022." We also recommend Hotel Atwater, the Catalina Island Inn, the Bellanca Hotel, and rental home stays if the Pavilion is all booked up!

Yes; we are registered on Zola, Crate & Barrel, Amazon, and Bed, Bath, & Beyond.

Where is the Welcome Drinks Event?

Answer

We will share our Air Bnb address as soon as we have it, but we do know it is up a steep walk. We recommend comfortable walking shoes or checking with your stay to see if they will give you a lift to the event!
