We will continue to add information to this website with regards to travel. We appreciate your patience.

Flight

Flights

Your safety is our priority as we all come to celebrate together in Hyderabad, India. We recommend flying into Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (HYD) airport for the wedding. European carriers (Lufthansa, British Airways, and Air France-KLM) offer direct international departures straight out of Miami (MIA) and Orlando (MCO) to their European hubs before connecting to Hyderabad. If you choose an East Asian airline, your ticket will likely include a domestic connection through New York or Atlanta. Please keep in mind that Hyderabad is ~9–13 hours ahead of U.S. time zones, and travel typically takes 20–25 hours. That means you may arrive one or two calendar days after departure, so please plan your travel dates accordingly to ensure you arrive in time for the wedding festivities.

House Or Rental

Hotel

We request that you hold off on booking hotels as we will provide recommendations in the coming months.

Travel Note

Travel Visa

When: Submit your application at least 3 to 4 weeks before your flight. Approval: Most approvals are issued within 3 to 10 business days. Visa Type: Select the 30-Day e-Tourist Visa if you are strictly coming for the wedding window and want the lowest fee. Select the 1-Year e-Tourist Visa if you want more flexibility, as it allows multiple entries throughout the year. Crucial Step: Print out the Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) document. You will be required to present this physical paper printout before boarding and before leaving the airport.

Travel Note

Phone Access

The Easiest Option is International Roaming with your current US carrier: - T-Mobile / Google Fi: Most plans include free or low-cost international data and texting in India automatically. - AT&T / Verizon: Both carriers offer international day passes (around $10 per day). Guests must pay for this with their carrier before leaving the US. But do not activate it till the day you leave the US because that is when company starts counting the days of your plan. FYI There will not be Wifi access in India until exit into the immigration area upon exiting the airport (only exit available, don't worry).
