We met on December 10th, 2015, shortly after Sam had moved to Philadelphia. After we exchanged some text messages, we decided to have our first date in a climbing gym. What better idea for a first date than putting your life in the hands of someone you had never met and then letting them stare at your butt in the air for the rest of the night! After we went climbing, we went to a fun outdoor beer garden in Philly called Frankfurt Hall. We talked for about four hours, and then scheduled our second date for the following night. We knew from the start that we had something special, and we have been feeling that way ever since.

We were heading to Yosemite to meet up with some friends for a camping trip. Adam asked Sam to take a detour into the park, and then suggested a trail run to a beautiful lookout near Curry Village. It was 98 degrees outside, but we went running anyway! We stopped in front of Half Dome, and Adam popped the question! We then went to the campsite, where our friends had set up the most beautiful engagement party. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Santa Barbara!
