Mother of the Bride
The youngest sibling dubbed Mary the "uber mom". It's a fitting title. This woman is GOALS. Sam and I have been so blessed to have her as a mom who loves us. She has always encouraged us and spoken into us individually and into our relationship with authenticity and truth and love.
Mother of the Groom
Robyn is wonderful. She is so caring and always remind us and everyone we know her house is always open for visitors. She does the best job loving and caring for those around her. We are very grateful for Robyn.
Bridesmaid
We are best friends with Liz and her husband, and our sons are best friends... how much better does it get?? Liz practices generosity better than anyone else I know, and is fiercely loyal to those around her. She always encourages me to be the best me I can be (ok I know that's cliche to say but its SO TRUE of this woman!!).
Maid of Honor
Abigaile's favorite little sister. She's the perfect sibling, aces the hardest math courses, and executes Maid of Honor without flaw. Abigaile did beat her at a who-can-slide-further-in-their-socks-across-the-wood-floor competition though, so she's not best at EVERYTHING, just ALMOST everything.
Bridesmaid
This woman LOVES all those around her so well, and is a fellow lover of being in the wild outdoors. She always chooses vulnerability and authenticity with grace. We are honored to call her friend.
Bridesmaid
I held (crushed) her hand while I gave birth to my son. This woman will always be my favorite hottie to hibernate with, and my only sistercousinfriend. Sisterhood/womanhood/tribe is at it's best when we are together. We got to be roommates briefly while I was pregnant, and it was the best time of my life, no joke. Don't let the creeps get you down.
Bridesmaid
Jamie is my most recent friend of all the bridal party. Right from the start of our friendship she showed me support and love without judgement or conditions. She is always true to herself and I always feel free to be truly myself when I am with her. I hope we continue sharing restaurant recommendations, cooking/baking ideas, and all things food and beverage for many years to come! She also has basically the coolest hobby ever - woodworking!
Bridesmaid
Gabrielle and I most often share late night chats and wine. Good thing we live walking distance to each other. Just kidding. Sort of. Our late night talks are always open and vulnerable and I always appreciate her thoughtful input into whatever we are discussing. Gabrielle was little bit of a surprise relationship for me. I didn't expect to grow close with her, and then all of a sudden we were good friends. I am so grateful for this sweet and unexpected friendship with such a funny, wise, and loving woman.
Bridesmaid
Kathryn is my oldest friend. We met when we were 9 years old, in France. Our families became very close, and many of my childhood memories include her and her family. Since then we have both moved many times, but however great the distance between us we have always remained friends.
Best Man
Joel and I have a 2 year running Tuesday morning coffee date. Through this time each week and a trip to New York together I have been blessed to have Joel become a really close friend. His wife (Liz) is a great friend to Abigaile and his son and Oliver are best friends. I appreciate Joel because he cares deeply about the people and things around him. Joel has listened to me process many things and is always such a great listener and gives great input.
Groomsman
Eric and I (Sam) met 7 years ago and discovered that our Mom's lived a block away from each other. This kicked off one of the best friendships I have. Eric moved to New York a few years ago and we have kept in touch though many long phone conversations. Over the last 7 years we have grown up together and shared a ton of laughs and great memories together. I appreciate Eric because he always helps me to see every side to every situation.
Groomsman
Jared is my longest friend and in many ways is like a brother. Jared has meant so much to me over the years. Jared and I have grown up together. We met when I was in the seventh grade and have been great friends ever since. What I appreciate most about Jared is his dedication to being the best person he can be. I have watched Jared grow into a great husband and father. I will forever appreciate Jared and his friendship.
Groomsman
Ben is the oldest of Abigaile's brothers. I look forward to gaining him as a brother. Ben is one of the smartest and sincerest people I know. I appreciate ben because he helps me know what is cool. He has steared me in the right direction many times when comes to music, clothing, and other things.
Groomsman
Nathen is Abigaile's middle brother. Nathen is so much fun. I avpresicait Nathen for how protective he is of himself and his people. Nathen is and always will be Nathen and I love that. Nathen will always watch after his brother, sisters and nephews. I look forward to being apart of this group of people.
Groomsman
Grae is Abigaile's youngest brothers. Grae is so wonderful and is going to continue to grow into such a great man. I appreciate Grae for his kind heart. Grae has such a caring heart for each person he encounters and has since the day I met him.
Groomsman
Wes is my big brother. Wes is the kind big brother that has always mad sure to let me know who is bigger and who could take who. I have learned many skills from Wes. Wes is one of the hardest workers I know. I appreciate Wes because Wes is always looking for ways he can help people. Wether it is me, our Mom, or a stranger Wes wants to help.
