Barcelona
Just 30–40 minutes from Sitges, Barcelona is an easy addition before or after the wedding weekend. From architecture and museums to beach clubs, wine bars, and late-night dinners, it’s the perfect mix of city energy and Mediterranean coast.
Mallorca
Mallorca is known for its crystal-clear coves, seaside towns, and relaxed island pace — perfect for anyone looking to extend the trip with a few days of beach time and sunshine. We highly recommend taking a short flight from Barcelona to experience the fairytale-like villages of Deià, Valldemossa, Cala Figuera, and Sóller, each offering its own mix of coastal scenery, cafés, and mountain views.
Costa Brava
Located north of Barcelona, Costa Brava is home to plenty of coastal villages, cliffside beaches, and scenic drives along the Mediterranean. Ideal for an easier and more laid-back extension to the weekend (no flight required). Our favorite towns are Tossa de Mar, Begur, and Cadaqués, where Salvador Dalí lived and worked nearby in Portlligat.
Portugal (Porto, Lisbon, or the Algarve)
Portugal pairs especially well with Spain for guests looking to turn the trip into a longer European adventure. Whether exploring cities like Lisbon and Porto, known for their incredible food, architecture, wine, and nightlife, or heading south to the Algarve region for beach towns and coastal scenery, Portugal is an easy and beautiful addition with direct flights from Barcelona. We highly recommend flying into Faro International Airport (FAO) and visiting Lagos, one of our favorite towns along the Algarve coast!
