What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Doors will open for seating at 3:30pm. Please arrive at the venue no later than 30 minutes before the ceremony. This will allow time for you to find parking and get seated. Once ceremony begins, entrance will not be granted until ceremony is completed.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

While we would love to have everyone attend, we are only able to accommodate those named on your invitation/RSVP. We would love to keep the wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family. Unfortunately, we cannot make any exceptions to this rule. Thank you for your understanding!

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends dress up with us! We kindly request that our guests dress in ALL BLACK formal or cocktail attire ONLY. (White shirts with traditional suits are okay)

What If I didn't RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by the date provided (August 22), it will automatically be marked as "Not Attending". The ceremony and reception are ONLY catered to the guests who did RSVP. We will miss celebrating with you, but it is imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given us. Thank you for understanding.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

The bar will be cash bar; we advise our guest to bring cash/card to pay for any drinks. We will still have a complimentary champagne toast during dinner! Please drink responsibly :)

Can I bring my children?

Answer

While we adore all of the little ones in our lives, our wedding is an adult-only event. With the exception of the flower girls and ring bearers. We appreciate your understanding and hope you take this opportunity for a well-deserved night off!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Our venue/hotel does offer $23 valet parking if you choose to drive. For overnight valet, the cost is $35. Please note that there many unaffiliated self-parking options nearby if you prefer that instead! All guests who use valet will receive a validation code during their check-In to verify their discounted parking rate.

Will you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Yes, you can access it by clicking the 'Registry' tab on the top of the page of the website. We will also have a card box at the venue if you wish to bring a card instead.

Can we get a room at the hotel?

Answer

Of course! Please refer to the link provided on the website on the travel tab. The hotel strongly recommends using the booking link provided to ensure you receive the discounted rate. If you prefer to call, please call Marriott Central Reservations at 1-800-228-9290 and request the Colon/Byrd Wedding block to receive the group rate.
