Our Ideal Weekend in San Diego
Our ideal weekend in La Jolla involves the beach (obviously)! Start your morning by going to a cute aesthetic coffee shop – get a coffee and maybe a delicious pastry. Head to the beach around 10am. We recommend La Jolla Shores! The beach is not too crowded and you can find a perfect spot. Play in the water, get crazy, and eventually you’ll get hungry. We have a couple suggestions and one required spot you MUST try! Jeff’s beach burgers and The Cheese Shop are great options for an in-between beach playing lunch spot. Then you MUST go to Shore Rider and order a Spicoli – an ice cold Modelo, filled up ¾ of the way, with the remaining ¼ filled with frozen margarita. Just trust us! Once your beach day has commenced, head over to convoy for dinner. Convoy has an array of different Asian restaurants, and almost every single one of them is delicious. No San Diego trip would be complete without a visit to South Park! Try one the infamous boozy slushies from Fernside, go tchotchke shopping, grab a scoop of ice cream from Mutual Friend, and maybe a pizza from the various Italian restaurants nearby! Maybe pop over and say hi to Pam and Joel while you're at it!
