With COVID, what should I expect or bring?

Answer

Please bring a mask!! As of July 9th, everyone is mandated to wear a mask in Marion County. You will need one for the ceremony and the reception. You can also expect the church to accommodate for social distancing by marking off pews and requesting that adequate space is given between immediate families. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.

What should I expect from a Nuptial Mass?

Answer

A full Catholic wedding Mass is composed of a typical Mass (readings from the Bible, homily, consecration, and communion) plus the Rite of Marriage (the vows). Everyone is welcome to participate in the hymns and prayers, but please remember that communion may only be received by baptized and practicing Catholics. Thank you in advance for your understanding!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There will be plenty of regular and handicapped parking both at Saint Barnabas Church as well as The Atrium. No need to worry about parking fees or not finding a spot.
