Dear family and friends, We hope this letter finds you safe and healthy. It is with our hearts full from the memories of your smiles, hugs and laughter that we have decided to postpone our celebration. Wedding planning has become an amazing walk through the memories collected over the years with each other and with all of our invited guests. Every item we included on the invitation collage, and everything we are planning for that day has a story that brings us closer. It includes our favorite record, maps, favorite food (raspberries), tickets to sporting events, music concerts, museums, and foreign trains. This one image represents the life we have composed together. The collage concept stemmed from an early movie night with friends watching The Grand Budapest Hotel before we were dating where friendship was kindled. The movie poster was a collection of objects that gave us a hint of what was to come. We hope the invitation collage gives you a hint of what we have planned.

On their first Valentine's Day together, Ian and Sam committed to tackling sub-zero temperatures and discovered just how adventurous they could be. In the Caldwell Woods that day they both realized how relaxed they felt together even in the crazy conditions. It was love. Five years later on another Caldwell hike, while a crane flew across the water and church bells rang in the distance, Ian got down on one knee and proposed.
