September 2017: our first date... we met 2 weeks before. MOH Kate took the photo for us.

December 2020: We graduated! We somehow managed to graduate at the same time despite Grace's weird double degree program and Sam's mid-college major switch

Summer 2021: Camping trip right before Grace moved to NC.

October 2021: Halloween... Sam managed to look like he was wearing a very intentional costume... without actually being anything

December 2021: Ice skating in downtown Raleigh... Our attempt to be city people. We took 2 laps on the ice and then drank hot cocoa and people watched the rest of the night.

March 2022: Took a road trip to Florida for a "sunny beach vacation" but we went during a cold front and had freezing rain.

March 2022: this was the one sunny day on our Florida trip.

July 2022: Day trip to Boston

All of 2022: Many. Many. Zoom dates.

September 2022: 5 years after our very first date - to the day, Sam proposed. It was perfect.

New Years 2022/2023: Spent the weekend with friends in Pawleys Island, SC.
