The ceremony will start at 4:30. We would recommend arriving no later than 4:15 to allow everyone time to be seated.
Semi-formal attire.
It's your chance to break out the suit & tie or fancy dress! Think floor length formal dress, a cocktail dress if you're dying to break out a classy favorite, or a pantsuit you just had to have for a special occasion. A men's suit, sport jacket, or blazer with dress pants will fit right in. If it's to be quite hot, show off your favorite dress shirt & tie. If you have any nagging doubts, think what you might wear if someone asked for "Sunday Best" and you wanted to impress!
The easiest way to access the venue is to enter via the main university entrance on E High Avenue. You will go over a small bridge, then come to a dead end stop sign. At the stop sign, turn right. There will be multiple parking lots on your left as you drive. Parking Lot D is closest to the entrance to the venue.
At 11pm on the night of the wedding, the venue will give us the age-old adage “You don’t have to go home but you can’t stay here!” If you would like a hotel room for that evening, The Townplace Suites by Marriott (New Philadelphia) would be our recommendation. It is a brand new hotel right on the river & easily accessible from I-77. The hotel opened on April 28th, not leaving enough time to book a block of rooms according to their policy, but they do have plenty of availability as of mid-May!
