Union Station Kansas City
Union Station has always been one of our favorite places in Kansas City and it is where Sam proposed! It’s a beautiful building full of history and a few fabulous restaurants as well.
Power and Light District
We have spent many fun nights here! A great atmosphere and lots of restaurant options. Our favorite is County Road Ice House!
Country Club Plaza
We celebrated our first anniversary at the Plaza and have had many wonderful brunch mornings and date nights here over the years. Many of the famous fountains of Kansas City are found throughout the Plaza as well as great shopping and restaurants!
River Market
We spent many weekends here when Sam lived in the River Market and Aubrey was going to pharmacy school downtown. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops, and a farmer’s market on the weekends!
Boulevard Brewing Company
The best beer in Kansas City! Boulevard Brewery offers a Rec Hall with beers on tap, tours of the facility, and a beautiful view of the city. We celebrated our 5th anniversary here and have spent many weekends on the Rec Dec drinking with friends!
Brookside Neighborhood
We live in the Brookside neighborhood and absolutely love it! A wonderful area with great restaurants and charming historic homes.
