Bride
I met Abraham while we were both working as tutors at SF State. He thought he could tell me no. He was wrong.
Groom
I met Sam working at the tutoring center. I told her she can't sit at my table.
Best Woman
I met Abraham in graduate school at SF State. We became fast friends through our common love for math, teaching, and most importantly, sandwiches.
Man of Honor
Sam and I met in the old world, working as vigilant guards for food trucks within the war-torn lands of North Beach, guarding against vagrants and bandits. Abraham and I bonded over whiskey and long evenings of lament and catharsis over the fatiguing journey known as Samantha Alvarez. I mean, Sam's a delight, and is not mean at all.
Maid of Honor
I officially knew Sam was one of the greatest humans walking the earth when she dressed as an eggplant for Halloween our freshman year of college. I officially knew Abraham was one of the greatest humans walking the earth when Sam and I attempted to have a snowball fight with sand and he did not shame us. The facts speak for themselves.
Best Man
I met Abe, in grad school in the Math department in San Francisco State, too many years ago to count. When I met Abe I was already married and about to have my first child.... I was what people typically refer to as old. And yet despite my already advanced age, Abe and I quickly became friends. I honesty think he took pity on me however. Perhaps it was the sarcasm, or the near genius intellect that we both possessed or the love of making fun of others completely dead pan.... well whatever it was he became my best friend and I couldn’t be luckier to know him, well maybe expect for Sam.
Honored Cat
Lady Norton will not attend as she has a previous engagement.
