Are you having a ceremony or is this just a reception?

Answer

We are having a ceremony to affirm our marriage and celebrate our family! We were legally married in a parents-only, backyard, ceremony by a Zoom officiant in July, 2020. A lot has happened since, but nothing that diminishes our desire to commit to each other in front of our friends and family. After two years of restrictions and lockdowns, we're especially excited to finally be able to celebrate with our friends and family at the reception. We hope you'll join us!

What are the COVID protocols? (Updated May 2022)

Answer

The ceremony venue and celebration will be largely outdoors, and guests will have the ability to remain outdoors for all of the event if they desire. We plan to follow the latest state and local guidelines regarding masks and social distancing. If your family is more comfortable wearing masks please do. If you have social distancing preferences please let us know and we can make sure we accommodate your needs. In accordance with CDC guidelines, we request everyone attending be vaccinated and boosted. We strongly encourage people to rapid test prior to attending wedding events. Please do not travel unless you're comfortable doing so, and are feeling well. We will provide updates as state and local COVID guidance, and national and local conditions change.

Answer

Yes! Children are welcome. Please let us know if you plan to have your littles in tow so that we can plan accordingly.
