Garin Farm is famous for its Pilgrimage Hill, a spiritual walk from “Creation to Ascension” that ends at an all-white “heaven” at the top. The 480-step Stairway to Heaven climbs a steep hill and rewards you with sweeping views of San Joaquin’s coastline and the Sulu Sea. The climb takes visitors past life-size statues of key biblical scenes, from Christ’s birth and baptism to the Crucifixion and Resurrection. Near the top, a dark meditation tunnel symbolizes repentance before entering heaven. At the summit, guests emerge into an all-white space filled with a towering cross, angels, saints, and other religious sculptures.
