Anyone who knows us knows that our story began at Donovan’s Reef in Sea Bright, NJ. Our friends were sitting near each other all day long, soaking up the sun, drinking and dancing. One moment led to another and Michael introduced himself; we were inseparable the rest of the day. Never did we think that we would meet someone during a pandemic…but here we are.

We were on our way to dinner to celebrate Michael’s birthday and my graduation from grad school. He pulled over at the Spring Lake train station and said, “We're going for a walk.” It was raining… We walked to a beautiful gazebo set up with the song “Speechless” by Dan + Shay playing in the background. There were roses and champagne. Before I knew it, he was down on one knee... I said yes! It was a day full of love and happiness. We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter with you!
