HOW DO I R.S.V.P. ?

Answer

We are tracking attendance based on who has booked a room. Please book your room with our travel agent to RSVP as attending! A non-refundable deposit of $100 per room, or the complete cost of travel insurance is due at the time of booking. Full payments will be due by March 14, 2025.

What If I Can't Make It?

Answer

We understand not everyone will be able to attend a destination wedding and we will miss you! We ask that if you know you will not be able to make it, you RSVP no as soon as possible, so that we can keep an accurate guest list for our wedding planner. Please go to the RSVP section of this website, where you will be able to choose 'not attending'.

DO YOU HAVE A ROOM BLOCK?

Answer

Yes, we have reserved a block of rooms throughout both resorts, Generations and El Dorado Royale Casitas, depending on the type of room you pick. We did our best to ensure that we have a variety of room options for you to choose from, but booking early will help! As the saying goes... First come, first served! We ask that you book your stay directly from this site as all rooms must be booked within our room block.

WHAT DATES IS YOUR ROOM BLOCK FOR?

Answer

We are holding rooms from Thursday, August 28-Thursday, September 4. Feel free to stay for a long weekend or longer, this is your trip too! There is a 3-night minimum stay for all guests.

WHEN DO I NEED TO BOOK BY?

Answer

As soon as you know you'll be joining us! There are other weddings and guests at the resort so no guarantees if you wait. You can book your stay now through March 14, 2025. Your initial deposit is due upon booking to RSVP and reserve your room choice. Final payment is due March 14, 2025.

WHEN IS THE RSVP DEADLINE?

Please kindly book your stay and RSVP no later than March 14, 2025, so we can have an accurate headcount. If you cannot make it, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no", so we can plan accordingly.

DO I HAVE TO BOOK THROUGH YOUR TRAVEL AGENT?

Answer

Yes, we ask that you book your stay through our booking website in order to be apart of our wedding group and to receive the discounted rate. If you have any questions or issues booking through the booking website, please reach out to Kate, our travel agent, she is here to answer any and all travel/booking questions you may have to make the booking process as stress-free as possible. Please note as mentioned before, that this resort requires all guest rooms to be booked within the couple's room block.

WHICH RESORT ARE WE STAYING AT?

TRAVEL INSURANCE?

Answer

You have the option to select travel insurance when booking through our website with our travel agent. We HIGHLY recommend this for peace of mind in the event of a cancellation, travel delay or medical emergency.

WHAT AIRPORT DO I FLY INTO?

Answer

When you book your flights, be sure you are flying into the CANCUN airport, code CUN.

TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE AIRPORT?

Answer

Roundtrip airport transfers (the ride between the airport and resort) can be selected when completing your room reservation on our booking website. The transfers you select will pick you up at the airport on the day you are checking in to the resort and bring you back to the airport on the day we have you checking out.

TRANSPORTATION AT THE RESORT

Answer

There are golf-cart shuttles to transport guests between the resorts. You may have to wait, so leave early if you have a reservation, but there is a countdown timer at each of the stops at the resorts to let you know when the next shuttle is coming.

DO I NEED A PASSPORT?

Answer

Yes, a passport is required to travel to Mexico. Please make sure it is up to date and will not expire 6 months prior to your Mexico trip. If you need to apply for or renew your passport, we would recommend doing so ASAP.

CAN I USE AMERICAN $$ IN MEXICO?

Answer

Yes! we recommend bringing small bills ($1s) to tip bartenders and servers if you are experiencing good service. Make sure you call your bank before you leave and let them know you will be in Mexico in case you need to purchase anything with credit/debit cards.

WILL I HAVE PHONE SERVICE & WIFI?

Answer

Yes! Most major phone providers have full cell and limited internet service. Please check with your provider prior to flying to confirm what is included in your plan. The resort has Wi-Fi all throughout the grounds, and from our experience it works pretty well!

WHAT IS THE WEDDING ATTIRE?

Answer

Beach Cocktail Wedding. Think breezy elegance with lightweight fabrics and polished attire, as the wedding venue will be in part under a covered Palapa (hut) and partly on the sand. Wear shoes and attire that will be comfortable for this setting, as well as allow you to dance all night!

DO YOU HAVE A GIFT REGISTRY?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is the best gift we could ask for, so we kindly request no gifts, we only ask that you bring yourselves and get ready to party in paradise. If you do choose to give us a gift, we have set up a honeymoon fund on the 'Registry' tab above. Thank you!

CAN I DRINK THE WATER / ICE ?

Answer

The tap water in Mexico is not recommended for consumption. Your room will be stocked with water bottles, and you can always call room service or the front desk to request for more. The ice at the resort is filtered and boiled and should be good to use.
