Guess who’s getting MARRIED?!!

The year was 2019 when I, Kierra, moved to Raleigh after graduating ECU (GO PIRATES). I walked in the Outback Steakhouse in Cary, NC for my follow shift and I saw this short cute ass man working the grill. I texted all the group chats telling them I found the man I’m gonna marry! I did everything I could to find out his information (name, number, hobbies, relationship status 👀). Well as we all know Sam is shy. The man let me call him Sal for 2.5 years (he said it didn’t matter before we were together). I told him I thought he was cute but the man wouldn’t give me the time of day. Finally (2.5 years later) a couple friends/coworkers were able to convince him to go golfing and for me to tag along (so Denesha wouldn’t alone was the excuse) and yeah that’s how we fell in love, on the hot ass July summer day in 2021. Me riding in the golf cart with him to us watching Dr. Strange and making dinner at his apartment 🥰 and we never separated after that!

(Of course this is in my, Kierra’s, words) From my point of view this was absolutely the best proposal he could’ve done!! Our favorite band (The Beatles) was playing in the background while we’re at our favorite vacation spot (Emerald Isle Beach) enjoying each other’s company with nobody around us. Now I will say I had been seeing signs that 4/23 was going to be a really good day and something big was coming but I thought maybe we’d move or I’d find a new job. Now when he told me to take time off of work specifically for that day to go to the beach I did think maybe this was it, but as everyone knows I get distracted easily so I had completely forgot that I had an feeling about this day. Well fast forward to us sitting on the beach in our dope setup as always listening to “I Saw Her Standing There” by The Beatles Sam sets up his phone to record us. We were being our goofy selves dancing and singing along while I was texting my family group chat about my lovely nieces when he grabbed my hand and said “You might want to stand up for this”. In the video you can see my face immediately change into shock and then understanding of the situation and of course then I started squealing like a little newborn piggy. Now I have to say the man did not set the phone up the correct way and I tried my best to help in the moment but you cannot see my face at all in the video. Though you cannot see Sam doing his thing and you can absolutely hear me and sometimes see me flinging myself around in view but yeah not the best angle. Though regardless of that I was so surprised and happy and just had my breath taken away. Now it all made sense why this man was acting weird, texting on his phone ALOT, and had to keep popping every couple minutes. I want to thank him for everything because I never imagined what my proposal would look like and it was 100% better than anything I would’ve imagined. And also thank you to everyone who kept him sane and helped him pick out the ring. THE RING IS BALLER!!!! I’m so freaking lucky now let’s go change my last name to SERAFANO!
