It was a Wednesday night. Sal took Alyssa to her favorite wine bar, Tria. What was expected to be a two-hour, introductory date turned into something else entirely. The conversation (and the Beaujolais) flowed. Five hours of banter later, they both thought this was the start of something special.

Sal and Alyssa started their December 2018 vacation in Munich enjoying the Christmas Markets. They had plans to then take the train to Paris to spend a few days. The Paris Protests almost derailed their plans, but luckily they were able to still enjoy most of the days they had planned in Paris. On their last night, Sal took Alyssa to a beautiful dinner at Relais Louis XIII. Afterwards they were walking along the Ponte des Arts when Sal got down on one knee! Alyssa could not wait to say yes! It was a dream proposal on a beautiful crisp night in Paris with the Eiffel Tower in the background!
