FAQs

Here's a few more details about the wedding plans! If you have a question that isn't listed here, please text the bride or groom.
Question

What should I wear?

Answer

We are going semi-formal for this, no need to come in a full tux or a floor-length gown (unless you really want to). That gorgeous garden party dress or that vest and slacks combo are all great.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at 4:30pm and follow the signs to the back lawn to be seated. The ceremony will start at 5pm.

Question

Is the wedding completely outdoors?

Answer

Yes, weather permitting our wedding is completely outdoors (i.e., the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception). April is usually mild in San Diego with lows of 65 degrees, however, it can felt colder if there is a breeze. There is a contingency plan in-doors if we have inclement weather, but we hope that is not necessary.

Question

Will we need to walk on grass since the venue is a golf club?

Answer

Yes, the reception and cocktail hour will be held on grass (but not the actual golf course). The reception will be held on concrete ground. You will need to ascend and descend a small set of stairs to reach the restrooms and reception.

Question

Is parking available?

Answer

Yes, there is ample parking at the golf club parking lot. If necessary, you may leave your vehicle in the lot overnight. Please do not drink and drive! Be smart, call a rideshare.

Question

Is there organized transportation to and from the venue?

Answer

No, there is not organized transport to and from the venue. Please make your own transportation plans. We recommend using a rideshare service (not taxi or public transport). You may leave your car in the venue parking lot overnight if you are unable to safely drive.

Question

Is there a hotel block we should use?

Answer

No, we will not be setting up a specific hotel block, but please see our 'Travel' tab for some nearby hotels.

Question

What if me or my guests have a dietary restriction? Allergies?

Answer

Please let us know in your RSVP if you have a dietary restriction that we should be aware of. We will pass the details to our catering team so that they can prepare you a meal that fits your needs. If you missed adding any dietary restrictions to your RSVP, please text the bride or groom so we know!
