We first met while working at an advertising agency in NYC. We were acquaintances at work and often exchanged hellos at our work's coffee bar. Liz then invited Adam to her 25th birthday party- outside of work the sparks flew. Adam shortly left that advertising agency to go to business school in Michigan but their relationship continued...

After spending 2 weeks in Banff, Canada and in Napa, California, we flew back to the east coast to join Adam's family for his parent's 40th wedding anniversary in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Before dinner one evening, Adam asked Liz to go with him to take some photos on the beach. With the tripod all set up, Adam asked Liz if they could get a photo of the both of them. He then knelt down and proposed. It was wonderful to celebrate with the family afterward.
