Sarah and Tyler officially started dating in May 2020, bonding over home-cooked meals, painting nights, and lots of park hangs with Bo (Sarah’s dog). By the end of 2021, Sarah and Bo moved in, and in 2024, they added one more: a sweet puppy named Percy. On their shared birthday (yep, same day!), January 13th, Tyler had something extra planned. After a morning hike with the pups, he brought Sarah to the Desert Botanical Garden under the guise of a fancy dinner. As they strolled through the desert blooms, Tyler stopped and shared how much he loved her and the life they’d built. Then came the big moment—he pulled out a handcrafted rose-shaped ring (yes, he made it!) and asked Sarah to marry him. They’re now planning to say "I do" surrounded by trees and gardens at Heronswood in Kingston, WA—because nature, like love, is always better when shared.
