When I first met Lauren at a church event, I immediately noticed her godly confidence, sense of humor, and ability to swear like a sailor. What I liked about her the most was that she truly loved God and had even dedicated her life to God as a Christian minister. Our first meeting was brief, but I walked away intrigued! Not only that, but as I kept coming to church events, I would run into her and talk to her. We kept talking! And eventually, we started keeping up with each other long distance. Not long after, we went on our first date, where we talked about life for five whole hours. We’ve been dating ever since! Lauren has been a source of tremendous joy in my life. I’m thankful that I get to marry my best friend and that we get to share our day with you.

If I had a dollar for every time I heard, “you should really meet David Schiano!,” I would have at least 15 dollars. After so many suggestions, I decided to hunt this man of mystery down. We met in the hallway during a busy break time at a big church event, and I was pretty certain I had bombed my first impression. He barely said anything! However every time I ran into him after that, he was clearly happy to see me. Even if he was a man of few words (or at least way fewer than me), he would bring things up that I said from weeks or months before. Before long we went on our first date, and it just got better and better from there. He is the calm to my crazy, and brings out the best in me like no one I’ve met before. I love his huge heart to care for people, his steadfast commitment to live life God’s way, and his subtle smack talk that keeps me on my toes. I can’t wait to commit my life to him and serve God together for all our days!
