This is Diane's sister and her husband. If you know Steph, you know she's smart, she's fresh, and she's the more fun and fair version of D. She's particular about the spelling of her first name. She has the gift of gab and can return anything, including but not limited to, custom blinds, a mixed can of paint, a used bathing suit, and most impressive, a car. And Jason is an artist. He can create anything, but is selective about for whom he will create. He has created a Michael Jordan mural, amazing sketches of famous people, a playhouse from a refrigerator box, a basketball court in his back yard, contest winning jack-o-lanterns, a ton of amazing Halloween costumes including a Slushie. He's a man of few words, but has a great sense of humor.
Elvis Bellony & Shanee Kearns
Best Man
If you know Junnior's family, you know that they all have multiple names and birth dates. Elvis is no exception. They all call him Chuchi, but nobody can really tell you why. Regardless, we are proud to call him family. Elvis is a standup guy who loves his family and will do anything for them, including creating balloon arches for birthday parties. He's a connoisseur of 90s hip hop and R&B, and currently holds the record for the crazy basketball shooting game that Junnior created. Shanee is spicy, smart, and has the best Instagram photos. When it comes to crafts, she can figure out how to make just about anything. If you need to get a party started, you call this chick. She's also fiercely competitive and usually ends up in fiery but friendly competition with Junnior.
Presley and Noah Atkins
Flower Child
Presley and Noah are Stephenie's children. Presley is an artist like her Dad. No seriously, you could commission this kid for art that's worthy of hanging in a museum. She has an Instagram account and a YouTube channel dedicated to her art, and she's only 8. She also has an eye for fashion, and has a better wardrobe and handbag collection than most grown women. Noah is a sports enthusiast and a gamer. His basketball and baseball skills are solid, and nobody can touch him when it comes to video games. He also does a really great impression of Napoleon Dynamite! But most impressive is his compassion for others. This kid is just a really nice guy! For some reason he has an aversion to shirts, but has agreed to wear one for this wedding.
Gianna & Jaden Belone
Ring Bearer
Gianna and Jaden are Junnior's (and soon to be Diane's) children. Diane really lucked out with these two! Gianna is 13, but she might as well be 30. She's wise and mature beyond her years. She's athletic and is good at gymnastics, basketball, and even good at sports she doesn't play (like softball). Her TikTok skillz are to be admired too! She's funny, smart, responsible and an all around good "kid." Jaden is on his way to being a professional athlete. Baseball and basketball are his sports. AND he's a lefty, so watch out! He's also a wealth of knowledge when it comes to professional sports. No need for Google if you have a sports question when he's in the room. He also has the appetite of a very large grown man, despite the fact that he's only 11!
Shirley & Big Mike Vinch
Parents of the Bride
These two win the award for most fun parents ever. Every Friday they would order pizza, rent movies, and invite friends and family to stay up until all hours. They won many Halloween contests with homemade costumes. They went out dancing with friends. They took their kids camping and on a bunch of road trips from Maine to Florida. Big Mike tried snowboarding at 62! They used their back yard for bonfires and fireworks displays. Big Mike would work his butt off in the factory and then join Shirl in the evenings to attend his kids’ games, recitals, concerts, etc. Unfortunately due to illness, Big Mike won’t be able to join us for this celebration. But his spirit will be there, and Shirl will fill in and walk Diane down the aisle and bring the fun.
Mariana Roberto
Mother of the Groom
Mariana is a chef. She can throw down in the kitchen. She is trained in all sorts of cuisines including French, Italian, Spanish, and of course all sorts of Caribbean food. We once watched her critique and laugh at a chef in a restaurant who did not understand how to make a Caprese salad. Not only can she make the best meals you will ever taste, she will grow the ingredients in her giant garden in The Dominican Republic and crochet the table settings. She's also a terrific mother and grandmother, and always seems to keep her cool and sense of humor.
