When should I RSVP by?

What time zone will the wedding be in?
Answer
As a friendly reminder, our venue is in the Eastern Time Zone, which is one hour ahead of Central Time. Please plan travel accordingly.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
The dress code is business casual. Dress pants, slacks, khakis, skirts; button-down shirts, polos, dressy blouses or elevated tops; sundresses, day dresses, or jumpsuits; and dressy sandals, loafers, wedges, flats, low heels, or dress shoes are all welcome. No jeans, shorts, t-shirts, sneakers, or flip flops please! The ceremony will be held outdoors in a garden. For your comfort and safety on uneven ground, we recommend avoiding high heels.

Can I bring a date?

To keep our celebration intimate, we are unable to accommodate additional plus-ones. Only the guests listed on your invitation are invited to attend.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We love your children, but due to space restrictions, we cannot accommodate guests under the age of 15. Children age 15 or older are welcome to attend.

Where will the ceremony be held?
Answer
The ceremony will be held outdoors in the Boxwood Garden at McCoy Farm & Gardens. The address is 1604 Taft Hwy, Signal Mountain, TN 37377. Please make sure you enter McCoy Farm & Gardens from the Taft Highway entrance. Once you park in the gravel lot, please follow the gravel path toward the Main House, then take a left at the fork. The Boxwood Garden will be on your left. Please see the Map page for important information about navigating between the ceremony and reception locations.

When should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Please plan on being seated at the ceremony no later than 4:15 PM. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30 PM. Please note that the venues are in Eastern Time Zone.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?
Answer
Yes, there will be about an hour between the ceremony and the reception. This allows time for final photos and for guests to travel from McCoy Farm & Gardens to Rodizio Grill – Hamilton Place. The drive typically takes 35–55 minutes, depending on traffic. We kindly ask that guests proceed directly to Rodizio Grill after the ceremony. Please be sure to route your GPS via Signal Mountain Road instead of W Road. See the Map page for more details.

Where is the reception?
Answer
Our wedding reception will be held in the Carnival Room at Rodizio Grill - Hamilton Place. The address is 2100 Hamilton Pl Blvd #201, Chattanooga, TN 37421. Please be sure to head to the Hamilton Place Mall location, as there is also a Rodizio Grill in downtown Chattanooga. The celebration will be an relaxed gathering focused on sharing a meal together. There will not be a formal program, speeches, or dancing and instead simply dinner, wedding cake, and time to enjoy one another’s company.

Is parking available?
Answer
McCoy Farm & Gardens has a large gravel parking lot available. Once you park, please follow the gravel path toward the Main House, then take a left at the fork. The Boxwood Garden will be on your left. Rodizio Grill – Hamilton Place offers abundant parking. For your convenience, we recommend parking on the side of the mall near the Aloft Hotel. The restaurant has both an outside entrance and an entrance from inside the mall.

What type of food will you serve at the reception?
Answer
Guests will be served the Full Rodizio, including grilled meats carved tableside, a salad bar, and Brazilian sides. Most of the menu is gluten free, and a variety of beef, chicken, pork, and seafood options are available. Vegetarian guests can enjoy a wide range of salads and hot side items as well as grilled pineapple. For menu details, please see the Rodizio Grill website.

Will there be alcohol?
Answer
We are providing non-alcoholic beverages for all guests. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase individually through the restaurant. Rodizio has a full bar with a variety of options available.

What's the best airport to use?
Answer
The Chattanooga Airport is very convenient, but it's not served by all airlines. Guests may wish to fly into the Nashville Airport or Atlanta Airport, which are both around three hours away. Please note that the Nashville Airport is in Central Time Zone and the wedding is in Eastern Time Zone, so you'll need to adjust your planned drive time accordingly.

Could you suggest places to eat and see while I'm in town?
Answer
Please check out our FAQs page for some of our favorite things to do and places to eat in Chattanooga. We suggest visiting the Tennessee Aquarium, stopping at Clumpies for ice cream, or riding the Missionary Ridge Local at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum.

Answer
The Aloft Chattanooga Hamilton Place and the Hampton Inn and Suites Chattanooga/Hamilton Place are both very close to the reception. For further suggestions, please see the Map page.
