Salome came to the United States from Jamaica in 197x. Little did she know that her future husband had also come to the United States in 197x for the same reason for his education. They met in Chicago when Divaker was putting up fliers for a Bridge game. Salome thought it would be fun to go to meet someone nice. Turns out she did and the rest was history. Together they have built a life together with three children Dija, Neha and Sanat. They have been successful in raising children who are in a variety of fields. Neha is a doctor, San is a triple VP at a marketing company and Dija is a filmmaker and actress. Salome and Divaker have seven beautiful grandchidren, Hadessa, Elijah, Selah, Haliyah, Micaiah, Eden and Havannah. They also have continued their love for God by becoming Lutheran pastors and building a growing mission in Jamaica. Divaker and Salome have a life that is dedicated to helping others grow spiritually.
