We matched on Hinge, and after just a couple of days of chatting, we couldn’t wait to meet in person — so we did! Our first date was at Freddie’s Beach Bar, a fabulously quirky spot decorated with vintage Barbie dolls and colorful boas. At first, we were a little nervous (as first dates go), but soon enough, the conversation just flowed. We spent nearly four hours talking about everything — our lives, hopes and dreams, families, the highs and lows we’ve experienced, and what we were looking for in a partner. Neither of us wanted the night to end, and by the time it was over, it was crystal clear ... this was the start of something truly special.
