Great breakfast/brunch spot near the park. Inexpensive and solid food.
Flying Monk Noodle Bar
Crispy succulent pork is enough to make someone stop in.
Churchill's
This place is in the heart of the "touristy" area, but don't let that fool you. Worthy spot for good beers and ambience.
The Original Pinkie Masters
Probably Jon's favorite spot. It's a small, cash only pub that we recommend stopping in for a PBR on tap.
Savannah Coffee Roasters
A nice coffee shop with a kitchen for breakfast. It's a good stop especially if you're staying near the park and walking to the river.
White Whale Craft Ales
This is a small craft beer shop with a handful of tables and a dozen beers on tap. Lots of local/Georgia options.
Fountain at Forsyth Park
This is kind of an obvious one. Go take walk through the park. There's a café for coffee, ice cream..
Kroger
There are not a ton of grocery stores around.
Starland Yard
Nifty place with a few spots for food and drinks. It's like an outdoor food court with rotating food trucks. It's similar to Detroit Shipping Company.
Jones Street
This is just a cool street to walk down. There are some websites that talk about the history of the houses and their owners.
Two Tides Brewing Company
This is right next to Starland yard. Interesting brewery set in an old house that specializes in sours and hazies. They don't have what all of our dad's would call "regular" beer.
