Mym and I met at college orientation at KSU and we’ve been inseparable since. We’re both short, brown, and the only people I know that obsessively organize their closets by color. She's cheered me on at my best and been a shoulder to cry on at my worse. She's been a little sister to Salman, supporting and encouraging him in all of his endeavors. We've learned so much together and our friendship has survived every challenge thrown our way. We are stronger women because of each other. I can confidently say that our friendship will stand the test of time cause she is my person. We're definitely a match made in heaven! She’s the my-moon-ah to my-sun-ah! She may be my maid of honor, but I couldn’t be more honored to call this little Bengali firecracker my best friend!

You know how there’s some people in your life that change you for the better? Sarah is one of those people for me. I met Sarah through her husband, Shahzad when I moved to the Smyrna area. We very quickly went from being just acquaintances to friends to having heart to heart weekly therapy sessions over lunches at Top Spice for hours. That turned into Krispy Kreme and Sweet Hut runs when her pregnancy cravings kicked in, which I didn’t mind at all! :P She’s given me the best gift a girl could get, the gift of being an aunt to the sweetest little baby girl around, Sophie! I watched Sarah go from being a loving girlfriend to wife to mother in the few short years that we’ve known each other and I couldn’t be prouder. I’m blessed to have the best Matron of Honor and flower girl around!

My dad always told me, “friends are the family you choose.” While that is true, Alysha is family that became a friend. We first really got to know each other when my family moved to Toronto. After I moved back, we saw each other at family events, but really connected to when she moved to the states to finish up high school. I watched her go from a little girl with the biggest grin to a gorgeous young lady. She’s the person I can be a total goofball with, the only person who gets our moms as well as I do, and my personal make up artist. Even though she makes me feel like I’m a 1000 years older than her with how cool she is, I cherish our beautiful relationship and love being her big sister! Plus we had to have a little bit of Canadian on my bridal party eh? ;) #GORAPTORS

When I was accepted to nursing school in Augusta, I was nervous to move to a new city where I didn't know anyone, but then God blessed me with Linzi and all was well in my world! The 1st day of school we met with our clinical groups. This girl with longest silkiest blondest hair, purple sunglasses, and a giant rolling backpack, walked in late as usual & never in a million years did I think we'd be friends. She was way to cool for me! I spent an entire semester being intimidated by her, but one group lunch led to plans at Sole, led to weekend getaways to Atlanta together, led to this beautiful soul becoming my sister. From then on, her unconditional love & support got me through all the highs & lows of nursing school. I am honored to have her by my side for my big day!

My college life would have been extremely dull & a little bit more productive without this one. :P I met Katie at KSU & we went quickly from friends to roomies. Living with her meant no cups in the kitchen and that dinner would be whatever was in the kitchen. She was years ahead of KFC with Hot Cheeto crusted chicken! There were many times when I would walk into our dorm stressed from classes but there she'd be in front of the TV trying to dance to Salaam-E-Ishq & I just couldn't help but crack up. She also shares my love of binge watching bad AGT auditions on youtube for hours! She's essentially the female version of Sal with her goofy personality and sense of humor. The distance between us may have grown, but we couldn't be closer. I can't wait to have my Katie Boo Boo be my bridesmaid!

Erica and I met while I was at KSU as well! We quickly became friends, roomies, and study buddies! Pre-reqs for nursing school were no joke, and I could not have made it through Anatomy and Physiology without her. We used to study for exams until 2-3 am, coming up with the silliest phrases to remember concepts. After years of hard work, I am so proud of the amazing nurse she has became and so grateful to have experienced the college life with her! Also, I've never met someone who loves my moms biryani more than me, so much so that she eats it with her hands! It's very impressive! :P We may not be able to see each other much now but I am so happy to have her stand by my side on my wedding day and put years of learning Bollywood dances in front of the TV to good use!

Oh what to see about my Ana! Ana is the nicest, coolest, calmest person I know! Seriously, I don't know how she manages to be so chill all the time. She always sees the best in people and handles herself with so much grace and class. Ever since I've known her, she has been like the big sister I've never had and I truly look up to the amazing woman she is! She also gives the best hugs, makes the yummiest Brazilian desserts, and loves to play with my hair which I love. It's been so much fun getting to know her and family over these last couple of years and I'm happy to have her be one of my bridesmaids on my big day! I'm so glad Sunny went on that cruise where he found Ana to add to our little Smyrna family! <3

Sehrish is my newest friend but after getting to know her I feel like we've known each other for years! We met at my birthday celebration a couple of years ago but it wasn't until recently that we really got to know each other and I'm so happy for it! We share our love for Bollywood movies and music, the new stuff and the really really old stuff. I don't know many people that would spend the day with me watching nineties Bollywood movies, but I am very happy to have found that friend in Sehrish. She's one of the kindest and most genuine people I have known. We may not have known each other for long but I've got a good feeling that ours will be a lifelong friendship and I can't wait to have her by my side on my wedding day! :)
