We're so excited to celebrate with you!

Gabby and James met when they were much younger, though their love story did not start there. Gabby, her sister, and James's siblings all went to Phillips Elementary school on the South Side, and their families eventually began to hang out outside of school. They would mostly go swimming at Moore Pool in Brookline. Gabby thought James was cute, but was too nervous to talk to him. James thought Gabby had major cooties. Years later in 2009, James and Gabby ended up going to the same High School together, James a senior and Gabby a freshman. They occasionally "flirted" on facebook, but they rarely talked to each other in person and the timing was never quite right for the two. Little did they know that in years to come they would reconnect. Fast forward to 2019. Gabby and James hadn't talked in quite some time, but they still followed each other on social media. One day, Gabby noticed James was liking a lot of her instagram pictures, and like a modern day love story, decided to slide into his DM's. They began talking and hit it off. James kept canceling plans with Gabby to hang out, but Gabby had a strong feeling to give him one last chance, hence third time's a charm. Their first date was at La Prima in the Strip. They had such good conversation that they decided to walk the strip while it was raining and went into a few shops, but they didn't want to end the date there. James took Gabby to get Sushi, and they continued their conversation until they noticed they were on a 6 hour first date. After a few more dates, they decided to make it official. In such a short time they became close through the pandemic, and have accomplished so much with the support of each other. their family, and friends. From living through a pandemic, moving to North Carolina, starting new jobs, and getting engaged, they wouldn't want to do it with anyone else. They are excited to begin life's next adventure with the love of their lives right next to them!
