Oak Hill is a historic property and does not allow cars to stay overnight. Rome has some Uber options, although these can be limited. Shuttles will be provided for out of town guests to both ceremony & reception from the Courtyard Marriott, Hawthorne, and Hampton Inn & Suites Hotels. - Hampton Inn & Hawthorne Suites: The shuttle will arrive 3:15-3:25pm for pick-up from Hampton Inn and then travel to Hawthorne Suites. It will arrive for pickup at Hawthorne at 3:30pm and depart for ceremony promptly at 3:45pm. - Courtyard Marriott: The shuttle will arrive at 3:30pm and depart for ceremony promptly at 3:45pm The shuttles will be available at the conclusion of reception to bring guests back to Courtyard Marriott, Hawthorne Suites, and Hampton Inn hotels.
Attire for the welcome party is casual, come as you are! We are so grateful for our family & friends traveling from near and far to celebrate with us. Attire for the ceremony and reception is Black Tie Optional. Because the chapel is located on a hill, and there will be outdoor elements to reception--we strongly recommend wearing shoes that are comfortable & easy to walk in.
