Sally and Paxton both attended the University of Oklahoma for their undergraduate degrees, with Sally double majoring in American history and English and Paxton earning a dual degree in industrial systems engineering and jazz. We met online in 2019 and started dating in May of 2021. Since getting together in Oklahoma five years ago, we have had so many adventures together - we moved to Champaign, Illinois in 2022 so Sally could earn her master's degree in library and information sciences at the University of Illinois Urbana Champaign; we spent a summer living in Washington, DC and Severna Park, Maryland in 2023; and most recently, we moved to Boston, Massachusetts in the fall of 2024! Paxton proposed to Sally on August 15, 2025 in Gloucester, Massachusetts at Hammond Castle overlooking the Atlantic ocean. It was the single best, most beautiful moment of both our lives, though we look forward to topping it at our wedding. Some of our favorite things to do together are cuddle with our cat Winnie, explore New England, travel, try new restaurants, visit as many independent bookstores as possible, watch basketball (Thunder up!), go to museums, parallel play (Paxton with Legos and Sally with any one of her numerous crafty hobbies), and visit with our loved ones. We are so excited to spend forever hanging out together!
