The Marginal Way in Maine is one of New England's most beloved scenic coastal walks. Only 1.25 miles along the coast, this is a must when visiting Maine! Public parking throughout downtown Ogunquit. The trail begins off of shore road. Easy walking, sitting benches.
Located in York Harbour, the Wiggly Bridge is the world’s smallest suspension bridge, which leads to a short stroll through the Steedman Woods. Street parking on York St, between York Village and the Harbor. Trail begins off of route 103. Easy walking along the York River!
Perkins Cove is a culdesac of restaurants, shops, and scenic outlooks. We recommend grabbing a lobster roll at footbridge lobster or grabbing a drink at the restaurants just around the corner. A great place for dinner is M.C. Perkins located in Perkins cove!
York’s Long & Short sands beach are close by and full of activity! If you are looking to go a little farther, the York harbor beach is a little quieter and a short drive from York Village
Maine’s biggest city located on the water an hour away from York, home to excellent local dining and coffee, boutique shops and the lovely Portland Head Light. Always worth the trip!
