Question
I'm not confident in my ability to use Zoom...can I test it with you beforehand?
Answer
Yes absolutely! On January 9th from 2pm-4pm EST, we will be holding "Office Hours" for Zoom tech help. At any time during those two hours when you have just 5 mins, you can follow the instructions above to see if you can get connected with us on Zoom to get comfortable using Zoom. When you click on "Virtual Events" just make sure to click under the "Office Hours" event rather than the "Wedding Shower" event. If the website or Zoom is giving you trouble, send us an email to thecoleys2021@gmail.com with a good number to call you and we'll help sort everything out!

Will I get to participate in the wedding zoom call?
Answer
We are going to live stream our wedding via Zoom which means that guests watching will be muted and their video will be off. The great news about this is that you can watch anywhere and wear anything. Sayonara dress pants!

What the heck is that blank card included with our invitation?
Answer
It's a note card! Since we are not having an in person wedding we can't have a traditional guest book... so instead we sent you a card so you can write in our guest book from home. Simply say what you want to say and mail it back to us in the pre-postmarked envelope. Easy peasy lemon squeasy.

I just want to watch the wedding shower without participating...how do I do that?
Answer
To just live stream the Bridal Shower, you do not need your own Zoom account! On the day of the shower, go to "Virtual Events" page and click "Go to Virtual Event" under the Wedding Shower event. On the page that opens, you'll be to watch Zoom directly on zola - no zoom account needed!

I want to be able to see all the guests of the wedding shower and be able to speak with everyone...how do I do that?
Answer
If you have Zoom downloaded and an account already created, skip to next paragraph. Otherwise continue reading for help with getting set up with Zoom. First, go to https://zoom.us/signup to create an account. Next, if you are on a computer, go to https://zoom.us/download and download by clicking the "Zoom Client for Meetings." If you are on your mobile phone or iPad, go to your app store to download Zoom. Once you have an account created and Zoom downloaded on your computer or device, you are all set for the shower! On the day of the shower, go to "Virtual Events" page and click "Go to Virtual Event" under the Wedding Shower event. On the page that opens, you'll be to watch Zoom directly on Zola. Below the video will be a link starting with https://us04web.zoom.us....If you are on a computer, once you click that link, it will open another page titled "Launch Meeting." Click "Launch Meeting" and then "Open zoom.us" to watch the event through the Zoom application.
