The beautiful countryside hotel where our wedding and white party will take place. The 4 star boutique hotel features stunning views of the mountains, a serene pool, spa & gym facilities and charming rooms. The wedding party and close family & friends will be staying here, and there are some spare rooms available if you would like to join us! There is a discounted rate of approx £115 per night including breakfast. There is an additional cost if you would like to add extra beds (e.g. for children). Villas Near the Venue
There are some nice villas nearby (Ruta del Sol villas) that are perfect if you're thinking of turning our wedding weekend into a longer countryside trip. They all come equipped with a private pool, garden and bbq. The prices are all very reasonable but they require a minimum five nights booking. Encinar house | 5 nights: €535 - Capacity: 4 ppl / Beds: 2 / Bath: 2 Torcalillos house | 5 nights: €550 - Capacity: 2 ppl / Beds: 1 / Bath: 1 Chozas house* | 5 nights: €535 - Capacity: 4 ppl / Beds: 2 /Bath: 2 Almendros house* | 5 nights: €720 - Capacity: 10 ppl / Beds: 5 / Bath: 4 Olivios house* | 5 nights: €720 - Capacity: 6 ppl / Beds: 3 / Bath: 3 *It would be advisable to rent a car if staying in any of these villas due to their remote location. However, Chozas, Almendros and Olivios are located approx 6km from the wedding venue, so a car or taxi would be necessary to travel to/from the wedding venue. Other accommodation options
If you fancy staying in Antequera (the closest city to the wedding venue), our wedding planner highly recommends the following two hotels. They are approximately a half hour drive/taxi to the wedding venue, and are in walking distance to all of the beautiful sights that the city has to offer. - Parador de Antequera (4 star) - Antequera Hills (4 star) A lovely budget option that we stayed at when we first visited Antequera was: - Arte de Cozina (2 star) If you prefer to stay in a hotel in the countryside, our planner recommends La Posada del Torcal, a luxury boutique hotel on the foot of the El Torcal Mountains. It is conveniently located just a 9 minute drive from the wedding venue. - La Posada del Torcal (3 star) Booking: You can book any of the above hotels (& many more) direct through their websites or using third parties such as Booking.com.

Transport
Car rental Due to the wedding venue being in a remote area of Andalucia, the easiest option is to rent a car, especially if you plan on staying in the countryside. We have driven all around this region, and we’ve found it to be nice easy driving with great views along the way. There are plenty of car rental options available at Málaga Airport. Public transport If you don't fancy renting a car, then you can still access Antequera by public transport. Buses run from Málaga Airport into Málaga city, where you can transfer to another bus heading to Antequera. While we haven’t used this option ourselves, we’ve taken many buses around Spain and found them to be clean, cheap, and fairly easy to navigate (nothing like in the UK!). Travel Note
Wedding Day Shuttle Service
A shuttle bus to and from the venue will be organised for those staying in Antequera city on the wedding day, so you don't need to worry about booking any taxis! We will be in touch closer to the wedding date with more details. Note: There will be no shuttle service for the white party on Friday 26th June.
